Basic Hotel Sevilla Catedral - Seville

Basic Hotel Sevilla Catedral is a gem! Close to the Cathedral, clean rooms, and I loved the free drinks and snacks in the lobby. Only downside was the air conditioning was a bit noisy at night, but overall, a great stay!

I was here for 4 days and would stay there again. Enjoyed Seville, the hotel was lovely away from the major tourist attractions. It was in a marvellous location within walking distance of Plaza de San Francisco.

The staff were exceptional and pleasant.

Our initial room had a persistent sulfur smell, likely coming from outside. In the second room, the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, and the overall furniture felt sparse, lacking luggage racks or a closet. Noise levels from the street could interrupt a peaceful night, particularly for rooms facing outward.

The friendly staff were really nice with restaurant recommendations, and the free juices and pastries were a good surprise. The location is perfect for sightseeing, just a quick walk to the cathedral.
